Doug Banks, Radio Legend and 'Dan Ryan Head,' Has Died
'His voice will always be remembered.' Fans of the radio favorite remember Doug Banks.

CHICAGO, IL - Popular radio personality Doug Banks died Monday at age 57.
Banks hosted radio shows in big cities across the country, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Detroit before landing at V103 in Chicago, where his show airs from 2-6 p.m. on weekdays. He was also a contributor on ABC-Chicago’s “190 North” program for more than a decade.
Recently, he signed on to do a nationally syndicated show, according to his website.
V103 called Banks an “inspiration to many” when announcing his death Monday, noting he was known as the “Dan Ryan Head” in Chicago.
Banks’ fans on Twitter mourned his death on Monday.
