Minivan Catches Fire Outside O'Hare Airport Terminal
VIDEO: No one was hurt by the blaze Friday afternoon outside the upper level roadway of Terminal 3.

CHICAGO, IL — A minivan caught fire Friday afternoon outside a terminal at O'Hare International Airport, according to reports. The blaze occurred on the the upper level roadway for depatures outside Terminal 3, the airport said in an online statement.

Photos and video posted on Twitter by ORD Airport Insider show a white Dodge Caravan parked near the curb of start billowing black smoke from its hood before bursting into flames. Two small explosions also could be heard before the fire broke out, according to one witness.

Chicago firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, and no one was injured, the airport stated. Traffic also returned to normal, according to the airport.
