KISS Brings 'Freedom to Rock' Tour to Rockford: Photos

If you're a die-hard KISS fan living in the Chicago area, you might have taken a small road trip up to Rockford on Saturday night.

While not scheduling any shows in the immediate Chicago area this time around, rock band KISS brought their "Freedom to Rock" tour to nearby Rockford on Saturday night for a show at the BMO Harris Bank Center, home of the Rockford IceHogs hockey league.

The band's goal for the 36+ city tour, which started in early July, was to bring a show to fans in markets they haven't visited in quite some time, playing a number of cities they haven't been to in a few years, some they haven't been to in over a decade, and some they're playing for the first time.

Although the Rockford show was the 24th stop on the tour, there's still a chance to see the band live this year. For additional tour dates, click here.
