2 Killed When Car, Semi Collide

The collision occurred early Friday.

A teen and a Harvard man were killed Friday in a two-vehicle crash. The collision occurred just before 2:30 a.m. in the 2000 block of North Route 23 in unincorporated Dunham Township.

A preliminary investigation shows a 2003 Toyota Prius, driven by the 48-year-old Harvard man, was traveling north on North Route 23, while a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia, driven by a 57-year-old Cross Plaines, Wisconsin woman, was southbound on Route 23. For unknown reasons, the Toyota crossed the center line of North Route 23 and struck the Freightliner head-on, according to a news release.
