Prairie Ridge Teacher on Paid Leave After Showing Pro-Clinton Video to Class

William Walker makes $119,000 per year and was outside the school this week protesting the district's move to boot him from the classroom.

A Prairie Ridge High School teacher who showed a pro-Hilary Clinton YouTube video during class is on paid administrative leave. William Walker, who has been with the school district since 1993, could be seen outside the school on Monday, with tape over his mouth and holding a sign that read, “Enjoy the Silence," the Northwest Herald reports.

The 23-minute You Tube video titled, Sam Harris Dismantles Donald Trump, disses Trump was shown while Walker was recently teaching at Prairie Ridge.

“He is probably the least-qualified candidate we’ve ever had for that office,” Harris says of Trump in the video.

Sam Harris is a neuroscientist and author who has authored books on religious topics. He has also written Free Will and Lying.

Walker, who makes $112,000 per year in addition to $19,000 in benefits, has been warned by district officials in the pastnot to talk about religion during class.
