"The hotel manager had been contacted by a concerned employer that an employee failed to show for work and had not answered any emails," Police Chief Greg Thomas said in an email to Patch. "There was no response from knocking on the door, so the manager entered the room and found the subject unresponsive."

A glucometer and prescription bottles were present, indicating the person was diabetic, Thomas said.
