Lidia Kuzniar, 55, of Deerfield was originally arrested Nov. 18 at Pfleger’s St. Sabina Church in Chicago after repeated attempts to have contact with the priest, according to reports on Patch. She has said God wanted her to marry the well known clergyman.

At a hearing Tuesday in Cook County Criminal Court, Judge Matthew Coghlan ruled Kuzniar unfit to stand trial, according to a Chicago Tribune story. That generally means she is unable to understand or participate in the court proceedings.

After earlier attempts to talk to talk to Pfleger and interrupt services and other events at St. Sabina, the priest got a restraining order. After Kuzniar violated the order, she was arrested Nov. 18 on felony counts of stalking and aggravated stalking, according to previous Patch reports. She was ordered held without bail at that time.
