Police ran a random registration inquiry on a 1995 Saturn sitting in the parking lot of 750 Osterman Ave. Authorities say the vehicle’s owner, Neptail Gomez, had a suspended license and was wanted in Lake County.
When officers showed a picture of Gomez to employees at they told them he was working in the kitchen. Police say they spotted a man who looked like Gomez but told them his name was actually Luis Enriquez. Authorities say Enriquez later admitted his real name was Francisco Soriano but he went by Luis for work.
When asked about previous violations, Soriano told officers he was last arrested in Highwood but authorities say records show his most frequent charge was in Chicago.
The 21-year-old was arrested for obstructing a peace officer. Police also say Soriano was in possession of three counterfeit looking social security cards and two TCF bank cards.
Officers were called to Lake Cook Road and Waukegan Road in connection to a car hitting the curb. When police arrived they say they spotted a black Hyundai driving erratically.
According to police, the car had a delayed response to their emergency lights and hit brick wall when pulling over to park.
Authorities say they immediately smelled alcohol on 39-year-old Ladislao Salinas, of Highwood. After failing a sobriety test Salinas was charged with a DUI and driving without a valid license.
His court date has been set for April 13.
