sophomore Christine Stitcher is hoping to become the first Warrior gymnast to make it to state since both Jaclyn Lash and Sarah Mihalov did it six years ago.  With an all-around score of 36.550 at Monday's Stevenson Sectional, Stitcher set a new personal record, but it still may not be enough.

With only the top five finishers earning automatic bids to the state meet, Stitcher finished 13th in the all-around competition.  However, she still has a shot to earn one of 12 at-large bids after all four sectionals are completed on Thursday.

While she set a personal record with her all-around score, Stitcher also set a new PR on beam (9.4) and tied her PR on floor (9.3).  She also scored a 9.3 on vault and 8.550 on bars.
