3 Semis Collide, Catch Fire On I-290: Authorities
The eastbound lanes of I-290 east of St. Charles Road in Berkeley were shut down late Sunday morning.
ILLINOIS (CBS) — The eastbound lanes of I-290 east of St. Charles Road in Berkeley were shut down late Sunday morning after a crash and fire involving three semi trucks, according to Illinois State Police. Shortly after 11 a.m. troopers responded to the crash where they say two of the trucks were traveling in the right lane when one lost control rear-ended the other.
