Driving with a Suspended License

Manuel Avila, 40, 140 S. Lincoln, Addison, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving with no insurance after police pulled over his silver Dodge Caravan for expired registration at North and Clinton at 4:22 a.m. Feb. 3. He was released on I-bond.

Shanae Morgan, 26, 7906 S. Luella Apt. 202, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over a blue Chevrolet Lumina at Roosevelt and York at 1:07 a.m. Feb. 4. Morgan was released on I-bond.

Rosa A. Sanchez-Gomez, 33, 5426 W. 23rd St., Cicero, was arrested on a warrant and charged with driving with a suspended license and obstructing identification after police pulled over her black Nissan Altima for one headlight at York Road and Interstate 88 at 5:09 a.m. Feb. 6. She reportedly gave officers a false name, and they discovered she had a failure-to-appear warrant out of La Grange. She was released on bond.

Karen Marshall, 33, 725 Benton Ave., Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle after police pulled over her tan Chrysler PT Cruiser at St. Charles and Sturges Parkway at 6:17 p.m. Feb. 7. She was released on bond.

Ismael Ponce-Ruiz, 30, 1310 Cambria, Schaumburg, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his green Nissan Sentra for speeding at York and Interstate 290 at 8:52 a.m. Feb. 8.

Stephan R. Banks, 22, 917 N. Long Apt. 1, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after his green Buick Skylark was pulled over for no license plate at 260 N. York at 9:37 p.m. Feb. 11.

Kenneth L. Palmer, 22, 844 Geneva Court, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and no proof of insurance after police pulled over his red Chevrolet Camero for disobeying a stop sign at North End and Van Auken at 9:13 a.m. Feb. 13. He was released on I-bond.

Mincael D. Perez, 28, 700 W. Forest Ave., West Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, no insurance and failure to secure a child under 8 after police pulled over a red Honda Civic for a loud muffler at Roosevelt and Butterfield at 3:44 p.m. Feb. 18. Perez was released on bond.

Anthony Lehmann, 25, 10536 S. Oglesby Apt. 105, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his silver Pontiac Bonneville for speeding and no front plate at Lake Street and Interstate 290 at 12:26 a.m. Feb. 19. He was released on I-bond.

Vanessa A. Figur, 24, 7405 S. Woodward Apt. 114, Woodridge, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over her gray Chrysler PT Cruiser for failure to signal at Butterfield and Roosevelt roads at 4:54 a.m. Feb. 20. Her license was suspended for a DUI offense. She was released on bond and her vehicle was held for forfeiture.

Maria Mancines, 30, 1242 W. 19th St., Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over her red Chevrolet Cavalier for a loud muffler at Ridgeland and North Avenue at 3:49 p.m. Feb. 20.

Zygmunt Kaganek, 47, 4812 Michigan, Schiller Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his red Dodge Ram for obstructed view at North Avenue and Route 83 at 4:34 a.m. Feb. 21. His vehicle was towed for forfeiture.

Paul L. Bonfiglio, 53, 415 Thames Drive, Shorewood, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his silver Ford Taurus for suspended registration at Route 83 and Second Street at 5:32 a.m. Feb. 23. He was released on I-bond.

Richard Olson, 56, 1519 Farwell, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his black Cadillac STS for speeding at North Avenue and I-290 at 10:34 p.m. Feb. 26. He was released on bond.

Driving Without a License

Juan Garcia-Zarate, 27, 2931 W. 51st St., Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his green Honda Accord at 1200 S. York at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 3. He was released on bond.

Amanda N. Koehman, 21, 5908 Butterfield Road, Berkeley, was cited for driving without a license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at Butterfield and Parkside at noon Feb. 11. After the accident, the 59-year-old Hillside woman Koehman reportedly crashed into subsequently tried to pull off of Butterfield Road onto Parkside and struck a tree. She said her brakes did not work.

Raul Sonora-Salinas, 21, 2707 Willens Drive, Melrose Park, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his red Pontiac Sunfire for driving on the shoulder on southbound Route 83 near North Avenue at 5:59 p.m. Feb. 15. He was released on bond.

David N. Navor, 26, 5908 W. Maple, Berkley, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his white Ford Mustang for an illegal left turn on the 200 block of East Butterfield at 1:41 p.m. Feb. 18. He was released on bond.

Charles D. Saulsberry, 37, 2743 N. Wayne, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his gray Chrysler 300 for suspended registration at Lake Street and I-290 at 3:03 a.m. Feb. 19.

Erika Madera-Garcia, 21, 804 N. Hillside, Hillside, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over her black Nissan 200 SX for speeding at Fern Court and Vallette at 4:04 p.m. Feb. 21. She was released on I-bond.

Mario Carillo, 33, 437 Geneva, Hillside, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his blue Nissan Altima for disobeying a stop sign at York Road and Cayuga at 7:06 p.m. Feb. 22. He was released on I-bond.

Jesus B. Gomez, 19, 3318 W. Berteau, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after his white Mercury Sable LS crashed into a vehicle driven by a 51-year-old Joliet man at 265 S. Route 83 at 9:33 p.m. Feb. 25. He also was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

Jose L. Rodriguez, 25, 8094 Catawbra Lane, Hanover Park, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his white Mitsubishi Lancer for tinted windows at York and Lake streets at 5:32 a.m. Feb. 27. He was released on bond.

Vidal Funez, 20, 1041 Ferrari Apt. 1A, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled him over for a loud muffler at Industrial Drive and Grand Avenue at 3:15 p.m. Feb. 27. He was released on I-bond.

Jaime Lezama, 54, 24W251 St. Charles Road, Carol Stream, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after his red Nissan Quest was involved in an accident with a 40-year-old Elmhurst Woman at 257 E. North Ave. at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 27. Lezama also was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Three people were cited after a three-car accident at 387 S. York Road at 11:35 a.m. Feb. 28. Santos Hernandez-Lopez, 34, 1008 Argyle, Bensenville, was cited for driving without a license and driving without insurance. Julia Martinez, 49, 2242 N. 74th Ave., Elmwood Park, was cited with failure to properly secure a child, and Sara Schrage was cited for no insurance and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
