UPDATE: Video Clearly Shows Gunman Threaten Bensenville Store Clerk Minutes Before Murder

A surveillance camera positioned directly adjacent to the entry of Sam's Tobacco and Food Mart, 235 W. Irving Park Road in Bensenville, clearly recorded the man who killed store clerk, Hussein Saghier of Chicago Sunday evening. The portion of the video released by Bensenville Police shows the activity outside the store for about one minute before the murder took place, police say.

The video shows a man with a gun and another man threatening Hussein, 36, as he attempted to exit the store with his brother at closing time. During a brief struggle, one of the men displayed a handgun. In the video, it appears an initial shot was fired that did not hit anyone. A subsequent shot, not shown, killed Saghir.

After Saghir was shot, both suspects fled eastbound on foot, police said.

The video clearly shows one of the subjects wearing an Abercrombie and Fitch maroon hoodie and True Religion blue jeans. The second subject was wearing a black hoodie with white trim on the front.

Saghir was shot at about 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, and was taken to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His killer is still at large.
