Bad Dog Behavior Leads to Even Worse Human Behavior

Local police departments provided the following reports. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt.

A Skokie woman reported that someone stole the flower wreath from the front of her home. The wreath was valued at around $20.

A Winnetka resident discovered that someone stole a paper bag filled with donated athletic shoes.

A Skokie woman received a call from the gas company informing her that she owed $2,226. The woman told police that the address listed on the account wasn’t hers.

Police said a Des Plaines man spit on a woman’s chest twice and screamed profanity at her because her dog urinated on a bush on the man’s property.

Someone spray painted five boulders black at the beach in Winnetka.

Niles police stopped a man for driving recklessly. Police asked him for his driver's license and insurance, and he handed over a credit card, according to the report. He was charged with DUI.
