Evanston Voters Overwhelmingly Chose Hillary Clinton

Donald Trump only received slightly more votes than Gary Johnson and Jill Stein on Tuesday.

EVANSTON, IL - Voters in the city of Evanston overwhelmingly chose Hillary Clinton for president in Tuesday’s election.

Numbers obtained by Evanston Now indicate 88 percent of Evanston voters cast their ballots for Clinton, while president-elect Donald Trump received just over 7 percent.

Libertarian Gary Johnson was at 2.6 percent in Evanston and Green Party candidate Jill stein at 1.7 percent.
