Looking for something to do this weekend? Here's a roundup of events you won't want to miss.

Evanston-Wilmette Community Golf Course Fundraiser
7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at the golf course, 1030 Central St.
Buy a ticket to “Groovin’ on the Greens” and help support a rebirth of the Evanston-Wilmette Community Golf Course. The event takes place on the patio and lawn adjacent to the Pro Shop and includes music, drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased on the golf course’s website

Front-Yard Art Sale
8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at 1931 Colfax St.
Check out a large selection of one-of-a-kind paintings and mixed-media pieces by Evanston artist Amy O. Woodbury, suspended from trees in her front lawn and garden.

Free College and Career Counseling for Teens, Parents
10 – 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, in the community meeting room at the Evanston Public Library, 1703 Orrington Ave.
Parents and teens are invited to the first session of the library’s free college and career counseling program. In this session, called “P.A.S.S.:What Do Colleges Want Anyway?,” participants will learn about the value of each part of a college application. Register in advance online.

‘Boosterpalooza’ Benefits ETHS Athletics, Activities
7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, atop the Sherman Plaza parking garage, 821 Davis St.
The Evanston Township High School Boosters club is hosting the first-ever "Boosterpalooza" this weekend to benefit athletics and activities at the high school. There will be raffles, food and live music by the ETHS Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, Chicken Bone, and Vernon Clark and the Heir to Joy Gospel Choir. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased on  the Boosters website

Movie in the Park: Back to the Future
7:25 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Dawes Park, Sheridan Road at Church Street
Bring chairs, blankets and bug spray for a free screening of this 1985 sci-fi flick about time-traveling teenager Marty McFly, played by Michael J. Fox.

Muslim Journeys Kickoff: Arif Choudhury
2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at the Levy Senior Center, 300 Dodge Ave.
Storyteller and humorist Arif Choudhury talks about his experience growing up Muslim in the Midwest as the opening act to a yearlong program called “ Muslim Journeys” at the Evanston Public Library. ““Often when people hear my stories, they realize they have similar stories in their lives, even though they may be different than me faith-wise,” Choudhury says. “We find that we have more in common than people may think.”
