What's the Best Bookstore in Evanston?

That's this week's question in our weekly Readers' Choice series.

What's the Best Bookstore in Evanston?

Evanston is an ideal city for avid readers.

In the Amazon era, there are still an abundance of new and used book stores in town where you can pick up your next great read.

We want to hear about your favorite shops. Please vote in the poll below, and better yet, click through on the store's name so you can leave a review in Evanston Patch's extensive business directory. That way, the next time your neighbors are looking for advice on where to shop, they'll be able to read your recommendations.

Here are this week's contenders:

915 Foster St.
828 Davis St.
1630 Sherman Ave.
716 Clark St.
1043 Chicago Ave. 703 Washington St.
2121 Sheridan Rd.
606 Davis St.
2000 Maple Ave.
700 Church St.
1235 Chicago

(We know we left out the ever popular Bookman's Alley because . The nostalgia vote might have tipped the scales too much.)

The poll will close at 9 a.m. on Friday and we'll announce the winner that afternoon. Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews in the business directory. Please vote only once per survey.

Check back next week when we ask you to vote on the best place in town to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
