Woman Who Yelled 'N Word' At Oak Street Beach is Evanston Resident

Internet sleuths have identified the woman who allegedly yelled the racist slur at three children who splashed water on her.

Internet sleuths have identified the woman caught on video shouting the N word at a black woman and who allegedly yelled the racist obscenity three times at the woman’s children for splashing water on her at Chicago’s Oak Street Beach on Monday as Chicago-area independent writer and sports blogger Angelle Marie ā€œPuffā€ Massion, according to a Rawstory article posted Thursday.

In the video posted by Bolton, a white woman is seen shouting ā€œN*****ā€ before berating the camerawoman about the United States Constitution.

ā€œOh, of course you haven’t graduated and you don’t know the Constitution of the United States and what it says,ā€the woman said. ā€œIt’s called free speech in America. Right to free speech! Look it up!ā€

Watch Bolton’s video hereMassion, it turns out, had an Evanston address when she was arrested in 2006 for trespassing during a similar verbal attack aimed at Northwestern University students.

According to online records, she still resides in the city.

According to a Daily Northwestern article dated March 1, 2006, Massion attacked and yelled curses at University police officers at the Norris University city after they responded to a call she was harassing students.

Massion, then-34, of the 300 block of Dempster Street, allegedly used racial slurs, spit at the officers and refused to show identification.

It took three officers to arrest Massion, who was also accused of knocking off an officer’s glasses and breaking them on the way to the police car. She was charged with criminal damage to property, trespassing, resisting an officer and battery.

Massion, on her ā€œShe Writesā€ blog, identifies herself as ā€œa writer from Evanston, Illinois.ā€
