POLICE: 'Swearing Woman' Tussles With Off-Duty Cop at Chuck E. Cheese

A Chicago woman faces multiple charges following a vestibule tussle with an off-duty cop at Chuck E. Cheese, reports said.

Oak Lawn Police responded to a call of a disturbance at Chuck E. Cheese at 4031 W. 95th St. around 5:33 p.m. March 15.

An off-duty police officer working as a security guard at the children’s entertainment emporium was manning the vestibule when he observed a woman later identified as Stephanie George, 25, of Chicago, allegedly start screaming obscenities in front of some young children.

When George was asked to leave the restaurant, she directed her obscenity tirade toward the off-duty cop, police said.

According to the report, the officer attempted to escort the woman off the premises when she broke away from the off-duty cops grasp.

Police said the George punched to the off-duty cop in the neck with her fist. She allegedly continued to ignore commands to place her hands behind her back so she could be handcuffed.

The officer eventually was able to take hold of George’s hands and place them in handcuffs, reports said.

George was taken to the Oak Lawn police station, where she was charged with battery, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. She had a court hearing on in Bridgeview on April 10.
