Sarah Lynn Smith, 20, of the 22000 block of Princeton Circle in Frankfort, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, disobeying a traffic control device and driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop, according to the police report.
Police pulled Smith over just before 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 7, after she was traveling east on 183rd Street and illegally turned right on red, heading south on Harlem Avenue, the report stated. A license check by the officer revealed that Smith had a suspended license, and she was put under arrest, the report continued.
A search of Smith's car—a 2005 blue Ford Taurus—uncovered a metal pipe used to smoke pot that had residue on it, the report stated.
Smith was released on $1,500 bond.
