Village Moves Forward with Roundabout Near Glenbard West
The Glen Ellyn Village Board is moving forward with $1.9 million in improvements along Crescent Boulevard by Glenbard West High School, which will include a roundabout and planter medians, according to the Chicago Tribune.

A "compact urban roundabout" in the area is meant to prevent U-turns and improve safety by reducing the speed of traffic and the improvements are also meant to increase bicycle and pedestrian access "in the area, which is a busy pick-up and drop-off point for  parents ," according to the Chicago Tribune.

The improvements are proposed along Crescent, between Park and Lake, and construction is expected to start in summer 2015, according to the article.
