Illinois Policy Institute CEO Speaking At Local Event

Illinois Policy Institute CEO To Speak At Char GOP Fundraiser

PARK RIDGE – The Friends of Char campaign committee supporting Maine Township Republican Committeeman candidate Charlene Foss-Eggemann will be featuring Illinois Policy Institute CEO John Tillman as the guest speaker at its January 22nd fundraiser.  The Illinois Policy Institute is a nonpartisan research organization working to improve the Illinois economic climate by transforming free market principles into law.

“The Illinois Policy Institute focuses their research and policy advocacy on budget and tax issues, labor reform, health care policy, education reform, jobs and growth.  These are the areas where Illinois is currently lagging, along with ethical government practices in general,” said Char Foss-Eggemann.  “As the next Republican Committeeman of Maine Township, I hope to recruit and support a diverse group of Republican candidates who are committed to reforming Illinois government on every level and putting our state back on the right track. John Tillman never fails to inspire the people around him to become more involved in the cause of reforming Illinois government.”

The event, focused on good government, will be held at the Park Ridge Country Club located at 636 S. Prospect in Park Ridge on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.    Appetizers and cocktails will be served.  The ticket price is $100.00 per person and $175.00 per couple.  As with all of Char Foss-Eggemann’s political events, Friends of Char will be donating 10% of the net proceeds to the Des Plaines Food Pantry.

“There will be many political fundraisers over the next few months and we want to make sure that no one loses sight of the reason we are all involved – to help each other.  I hope everyone will join us for our fundraiser to help establish good government and the help out the Des Plaines Food Pantry and local families in need,” said Char.
