Six Flags Makes Dream Come True for Glenview Boy
7-year-old Seth Mohr has special needs, but loves everything about Six Flags, which made his Halloween costume one he'd never forget.

Glenview resident Cori Mohr describes her seven-year-old son, Seth as a “devoted” and “obsessed” fan of Six Flags Great America/Hurricane Harbor.
“From opening day to closing day, Six Flags is his happy place, and we go there at least a few times a month,” Cori shared with Glenview Patch Facebook fans on Wednesday.
While Seth lives with significant cognitive and developmental delays, Cori says his love for Six Flags, and every detail about the park, “knows no bounds.”

While several thousands of Chicagoland kids have fallen in love with the rides at the theme park, Seth is more interested in the ride operators, and even hopes to become one someday.
So when Cori was looking for a Halloween costume for Seth and posted the call on a few online garage sales sites, it only took a Six Flags official about 20 minutes to respond with a pretty good deal, which would become a dream come true for the young boy.

Knowing she was seeking a Six Flags employee uniform, Cori tried to see if any former employees had their old uniforms for sale.
“Imagine my complete shock when 20 minutes later I received a private message from the PR director of Six Flags Great America asking how she could help make Seth’s dream come true,” Cori said.
Another Six Flags official soon later mailed an official Six Flags employee shirt and badge to the Mohr family. Seth “proudly” wore the uniform to the park later that week, when employees treated him as one of their own.
“One employee even gave Seth his whistle when Seth sadly noted he didn’t have the right tools to work at that particular ride,” Cori said.
Count Cori as one who will be forever grateful to Six Flags for their generosity.
“Their small kindness has made his dream come true, and no matter what his future career options hold, Seth will always have this experience to keep close to his heart,” she said.
