Driver May Have Fallen Asleep at Wheel, Caused Fatal Crash: Police
Police said a Crystal Lake teen may have fallen asleep at the wheel and collided head on with the woman's car, according to media reports.
 A 60-year-old Wauconda woman has died in a head-on crash that occurred on Old McHenry Road, just east of Redwood Lane, in Hawthorn Woods Tuesday night. the Daily Herald reports.
A preliminary investigation shows a 19-year-old Crystal Lake man may have fallen asleep at the wheel, crossed the centerline and collided with the Wauconda woman’s car. Ewa Lang was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the newspaper.
