Five People Overdose at Home Near Lake Villa
All five were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.

LAKE VILLA, IL - Five people overdosing on an "unknown substance" are expected to live after authorities were called to a home near Lake Villa Saturday night, police said Sunday.
Lake County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a home in the 39300 block of North Lake Avenue in unincorporated Lake Villa where they found four men and one woman, all between the ages of 18 and 20, who appeared to be suffering from an overdose, Sheriff's Office public information officer Christopher Covelli said.
Two of the individuals were found to be unconcious and unresponsive. Sheriff’s deputies administered a dose of Naloxone, which is meant to reverse the affects of an opiod overdose, to both of the unresponsive subjects, according to the news release. Upon receiving the Naloxone, both responded and regained their consciousness.

The other three individuals were conscious, but incoherent. All five were transported via ambulance to an area hospital, where they are expected to live, according to the news release.
Evidence was located at the scene consistent with drug use. Sheriff's Office Detective Christopher Covelli said multiple types of drugs were collected at the scene but could not provide more information as the incident remains under investigation.
