Police Seek Pit Bull, Dog’s Owner After Round Lake Park Attack
A pit bull attacked another dog, leaving the dog and dog's owner with injuries.

A woman walking her Siberian husky in Round Lake Park Saturday afternoon was injured after she stepped in to break up a fight when a pit bull attacked her pet, according to the Daily Herald.
The attack occurred in the 300 block of Grandview Drive at about 4 p.m. on Saturday. The 68-year-old woman sustained lacerations to her hands and wrists and was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center where she was treated and released, according to the Daily Herald. Her dog had injuries to its ears and other parts of its body and was taken to to a veterinary clinic.
The dog who instigated the attack is described as a black pit bull and authorities said they believed the dog’s owner lives in Hainesville, according to the Daily Herald.
