Car Driver Cited in School Bus Rollover Crash That Left Three With Minor Injuries
The accident took place just after 8 a.m. Tuesday. No children were on the bus at the time of the crash.
GRAYSLAKE, IL - A 25-year-old Ingleside man was cited for driving too fast for conditions when he attempted to pass a car while eastbound on Rollins Road in Grayslake Tuesday morning and struck a school bus, according to the Daily Herald. The school bus rolled over and two adults on the bus suffered minor injuries.
There were no children on the bus at the time of the crash. The crash lead to a secondary collision between two other vehicles and police said one other person was treated at the scene for minor injuries, according to the article.
The crash forced authorities to close Rollins Road between Hook Drive and Drury Lane.
