Stolen golf carts
Three juveniles were arrested for the theft of three golf carts from a facility in the 1300 block of Sunset Road at 6 p.m. June 19. One of the juveniles was also charged with criminal damage to property after striking two parked vehicles in the parking lot.
A wheeled recycle can was placed at the curb in the 600 block of Mulberry Place along with three other garbage cans for pick-up at 7:30 a.m. June 16. After pick-up the recycle can was missing.
Burglary from a motor vehicle
A briefcase was taken from the trunk of a car
sometime between 5-5:30 p.m. June 17 while at a business in the 1800 block of
First Street. The trunk of the car was open. The briefcase contained
miscellaneous items including an Apple laptop, Samsung DVD Drive and a white
A white mini-van, unknown make and model, pumped $40.20 worth of gas and drove off without paying at a business in the 0-100 block of Skokie Valley Road near midnight June 17.
Police are investigating a report of cash missing from a wallet that was left unsecured adjacent to the pool deck area at a business in the 1100 block of Half Day Road sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on June 18..
Criminal damage to property
A 3-foot by 2.5-foot hole was cut into a fence in the
1800 block of Old Skokie Road. The time frame is unknown. There are no
complaints of any missing property.
Police are investigating a report of a black Samsung Galaxy S5 stolen from a store's display table in the 0-100 block of Skokie Valley Road sometime on June 21.
