Duo Charged With Theft, Burglary After Alarm Goes Off: Cops

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY and RETAIL THEFT
Darius Dawson, 25, of the 7500 block of Ridge Boulevard, Chicago, and Brant Davis, 24, of the 700 block of Knight Avenue, Park City, were arrested and charged with burglary and retail theft after a July 12 incident.

Dawson and Davis were apprehended at about 12:50 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, after a commercial burglar alarm went off in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road.

Marcus Martin-McKinney, 28, of the 7200 block of South Coles Avenue, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use after a July 16 traffic stop at Park Ave West and Skokie Valley Road.
Martin-McKinney's court date is Aug. 19.

Daniela Montalvo-Puga, 20, of the 900 block of Deerfield Road, Highland Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance after a two-car accident July 17 in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road.
DUI
Emil Mai, 30, of the 2800 block of Farragut Avenue, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use and driving without a valid driver's license after a July 18 traffic stop in the 1800 block of Skokie Valley Road.
