New Concept in Kitchen Remodeling Stretches Renovation Dollars by Offering Discounted, High-End Kitchen Materials

Little Green Kitchens secures new homes for previously used luxury kitchen pieces

Little Green Kitchens, a new and unique luxury kitchen design company, utilizes previously used luxury kitchen cabinets and appliances in new, remodeled spaces. Equally passionate about the environment as they are about design, and determined to find a solution for the thousands of tons of construction waste that are added to landfills when much of it can be reused and given a new, beautiful life, Little Green Kitchens helps homeowners update their kitchens at a fraction of the cost of a typical fully remodeled kitchen.

With over 50% of kitchen budgets going to cabinetry and appliances, customers’ desire for a luxury kitchen is often out of reach due to budget constraints. On the flipside, homeowners often unknowingly discard cabinets, counter tops, lighting and appliances that may no longer fit their needs, squandering dollars that can be added back into their renovation budget.

“When we renovated our kitchen, I had champagne wishes without the champagne budget,” explains Amy Mayer, owner and founder of Little Green Kitchens. “My contractor was working with another client who was redesigning her kitchen, and suggested that I take a look before their renovation took place. I saw the gorgeous cabinets and appliances that were slotted for disposal, and knew they could function perfectly in my kitchen and fit within my design aesthetic. I used the existing dimensions of those items, and found a way to make them the perfect fit within my kitchen space. I was so pleased with my results that I wanted to offer this service to others so they too can have the kitchen of their dreams.”
