Body Found In Walmart Lot May Have Been There Days: Official
A woman's body was found in the backseat of her car in the Lockport Walmart parking lot on Tuesday.

LOCKPORT, IL — A woman's body was found Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of Walmart, police said. Lockport Police Department responded at 4:28 p.m. Oct. 9 for the report of a found body in the parking lot at 16241 S. Farrell Road.
According to police, responding officers found a 24-year-old woman deceased in the backseat of her car. The cause of death has not been determined, but there were no obvious signs of trauma to the victim. Foul play is not suspected at this time.
Lockport City Manager Ben Benson said it appeared as though this person may have been living out of the vehicle for some time, and that the body may have been there a day or two.

Police said there is a pending autopsy by the Will County Coroner’s Office.
