JOLIET, IL — The lifeless body of a man floating down the Des Plaines River was recovered on Monday morning around 7 a.m., The Joliet Herald-News reported.

The recovery was made near the Brandon Locks & Dam, near Route 6 and close to Rockdale.

The East Joliet Fire Department responded to the call.
