Man Behind Rialto Died From Fall: Coroner

Will County Coroner Patrick K. O'Neil announced Modell Funeral Home in Homer Glen is handling arrangements.

JOLIET, IL - A dead body discovered on Saturday around 8 a.m. in downtown Joliet not far from the Rialto Square Theatre was a Homer Glen man, the Will County Coroner's Office announced. On Saturday night, Will County Coroner Patrick K. O'Neil announced the body found in the 100 block of North Scott Street was Jacob Iovino, a 25-year-old resident of Homer Glen. He was officially pronounced deceased around 10:40 a.m. Preliminary autopsy results determined that Iovino died as a result of multiple injuries sustained "in a fall from heights," O'Neil announced.

The final cause and manner of death are still pending as the coroner's office will be awaiting toxicology screenings and the investigation of the Joliet Police Department.
