Crest Hill-DontQuit, (www.dquitlife.com) a non- profit organization that provides programs for the youth, will kick off summer at the Family Fun Zone (www.familyfunzone.com) with its’ first annual “DontQuit Welcome to the Summer” event on June 7th from 11am-3pm. The event will include free prizes, skating, Laser Tag, arcade games, food and more!
DontQuit’s “Welcome to the Summer” is a fundraiser for exciting programs and events in the greater Joliet area. Programs include the “Back 2 School Bash” where children will receive free school supplies and tutoring connections, “DontQuit Beach Party” and free football camps for young men. These programs will provide the youth with fun activities and programs, and encourage a safe summer in our area, a concern of the DontQuit CEO.
Rick Wallace, Founder/CEO of DontQuit stated, “We believe with the rising crime rates and violence, the “Welcome to the Summer” event is a prime opportunity to show students and family the importance of unity. Sometimes, the lack of activity and family involvement in the community creates bad environments. The summer is an excellent time to have fun, and DontQuit aims to kick off a positive environment with this event!”
