Joliet, IL — A semi traveling on Schweitzer Rd. east of Route 53 overturned Monday morning, spilling a load of dirt onto the road.

Joliet Fire Department Deputy Chief Ray Randich said the incident occurred at around 9:45 a.m. when the rear wheels left the roadway. The driver tried to bring the semi back onto the road, but then overturned.

No injuries were reported in the incident. The road was closed for around an hour.
