Make Summer Music With the Music Makers of Western Springs

Registration for the Music Makers of Western Springs is now open to children in grade K-8 for the summer musical program.

The Music Makers plan to stage two productions this summer, “Swamped” and “The Wizard of Oz.”

“Swamped,” the K-2 production, is a charming musical tale about friendship, tolerance and change which takes place in a swamp. Classes start June 9, and meet Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to noon, with performances scheduled for June 28 and 29.

Older students in grades 3-8 will hit the boards in “The Wizard of Oz.” Leads will be double-casted.

Classes start June 9 and run Monday through Thursday from noon to 2 p.m. for Cast A, and 2 to 4 p.m. for Cast B.

“Wizard of Oz” performances run June 27 through June 29.

Cost to register “Swamped” is $250; “Wizard of Oz” is $375. Auditions for both productions will be announced.

Register by downloading the registration form.
