Highwood is poised to be a hotspot for young professionals and foodies who want to live in a vibrant, affordable North Shore community, a new study says as explained in an article in the Highland Park News.
The Highwood Downtown Projects Guidebook, which was written by the city and urban planning consultants, said Highwood had more potential to attract residents in the 30s and 40s than any North Shore community north of Evanston, the article says. It noted the restaurant scene as well as proximity to large employers like Abbott and Baxter.
What do you think? Could Highwood turn into the North Shore’s hip, young community?
