You might be able to trick yourself into thinking you’re living in a French palace in this David Adler-designed Lake Bluff mansion that was designed to look like La Laterne, a French presidential retreat in Versailles, according to Curbed Chicago.

The 7,200-square-foot home is listed for $5.995 million and sits on nearly 6 acres, according to its listing. It was built in 1922 and retains many of its original elements, including scones and chandeliers.
