Edward Snowden's Attorney Talks Privacy at Lake Forest College
Ben Wizner is an attorney with the ACLU and defends citizens rights to privacy.

The attorney for National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden was at Lake Forest College Monday discussing privacy as a basic human need.
Ben Wizner, an attorney and director of the Speech, Privacy and Technology Project of the American Civil Liberties Union, cited the Fourth Amendment and its service to protect the privacy of American citizens, according to the Lake Forester. He disagrees with people who are OK with government surveillance and say, “I have nothing to hide.”
“I bet most of you close the door when you shower or use the toilet,” he said. “You don’t post credit card numbers to Facebook. We keep private journals. People hide many things even from their closest friends and family.”
