Fourth of July Parade: 'History Marches On’

6:30-9:45 a.m. – Kiwanis' 41st annual Pancake Breakfast

7 a.m. - Parade check-in opens on East Sheridan Place

8 a.m. - Parade assembles on East Center Avenue

9:15 a.m. - Children’s Parade assembles at Center and Scranton avenues

9:40 a.m. - Opening Ceremonies:

Invocation: Tom Dickelman, Community Church of Lake Bluff/Lake Forest

National Anthem: Lake Forest High School students

Master of Ceremonies: Joanna Rolek

Review Officer: Rear Admiral Sandra E. “Sandy” Adams, U.S. Navy

Reserve Deputy Commander, Navy Region Midwest

9:50 a.m. - Children’s Parade steps off

10 a.m. - Parade steps off from Oak Ave on East Center Ave.

Parade Marshals: The Lake Bluff History Museum

Parade Title Sponsor: Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital

After the Parade, in and around Artesian Park:

Noon - Firehose Games – Rosenthal Field

1 p.m. - Mixed Doubles Tennis Finals

7:30 p.m. – Annual Pie-Eating Contest
