Friday, December 21 is the submission deadline for the Prom T-shirt design contest. The contest is open to all LFHS students. The winner will receive an iPad mini 16GB. Each year a prom t-shirt is designed using student submitted artwork and given to every prom attendee. The theme for this year’s prom is “Carnivale.” The theme colors include gold, silver, deep purple and dark red. The t-shirt will have a small design on the front and a large design on the back. There will be no school from December 24 to January 4 for Winter Break. School resumes on Monday, January 7, 2013.
LFHS Alumni Wall of Fame 2013 nominations are now being accepted! Lake Forest High School honors its graduates and former students with an Alumni Wall of Fame. The Alumni Wall of Fame is designed to recognize the outstanding contributions of former students of Lake Forest High School and to inspire and offer role models for its current students. Lake Forest High School has graduated thousands of students who have entered professions and careers in a wide variety of fields including the areas of business, medicine, science, education, public service, the arts, entertainment, and sports. Nominations are being accepted through Friday, December 28, 2012. The community is encouraged to spread the word and nominate candidates. More information can be found at www.lfhs.org.
