Volunteers Needed for Lake Bluff Middle School Career Expo

LAKE BLUFF, IL - Professionals will have a chance to share their career passions with the young minds of Lake Bluff Middle School at an upcoming event.

Volunteers will speak in three half-hour sessions from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Feb. 2 as part of the newly-expanded LBMS Career Exposition.

According to a school news release, the subject matter is flexible. It could include what they do for a living, why and how they chose that career, what skills are necessary for success and what schooling and other preparation is required. Students will be encouraged to ask questions of the presenters.

Community members who are interested in being a presenter are asked to contact Lake Bluff Middle School Math teacher Heather Komac at hkomac@lb65.org.
