Woman Found Inhaling Compressed Air in Lake Forest Parking Lot: Cops

A Lake Forest woman charged with domestic battery is accused of interfering with the reporting of a domestic incident.

The following information is from the Lake Forest Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

UNLAWFUL USE OF INTOXICATING COMPOUNDS

Sarah J. Stutz, 26, 451 Yorktowne Lane was arrested for unlawful use of intoxicating compounds after an officer located her inhaling compressed air from a can in her car in a parking lot in the 500 block of Western Avenue at 2:10 p.m. on October 17.

DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED

Daniel P. Dougherty, 29, Highwood was arrested for driving while license suspended when an officer stopped him for speeding at 1:11 a.m. on October 22 at Old Elm Road and Harlan Lane. A smoking pipe was also found in his car.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

Rodica Ciorba, 53, 866 Old Elm Road was arrested for domestic battery at 10:31 p.m. on October 14 when police responded to her residence for a disturbance call. After speaking with all of the occupants, officers took Ciorba into custody for striking another person and stopping that person from calling 911.
