TRAFFIC ARRESTS (DUI)                                

Heather M. Shelby, 36, who resides at 140 Town Center Blvd in Gilberts, IL was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 12 at Route 22 in Lake Zurich, at 1:06 a.m., July 22.  Shelby was charged with Improper Lane Usage and Driving Under the Influence.  Shelby was issued a Waukegan court date of Aug. 20 and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

 

Moises S. Martinez, 27, who resides at 660 Liberty Street #302 in Waucondawas arrested for driving under the influence on Route 12 at N. Old Rand Road in Lake Zurich, at 2:34 a.m., July 22.  Martinez was charged with Improper Lane Usage, Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, No Valid Driver’s License, Driving Under the Influence and Driving Under the Influence with a B.A.C. or .08 or More.  Martinez was issued a Waukegan court date of Aug. 20 and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond. 

 

 

Jose Hernandez-Hernandez, 24, who resides at 145 Rainbow Road in North Barrington, was arrested for driving under the influence on Braemar Lane at Ela Road in Lake Zurich,at 4:03 a.m., July 22.  Hernandez-Hernandez was charged with Improper Lane Usage, Improper Turn at Intersection, No Valid Driver’s License, Driving Under the Influence and Driving Under the Influence with a B.A.C. or .08 or More.  Hernandez-Hernandez was issued a Waukegan court date of Aug. 20 and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond. 

 

Roman Maslanka, 62, who resides at 8200 Oconnor Drive in River Grove, IL  was arrested for driving under the influence on Oakwood Road at Commerce Drive in Lake Zurich, at 9:05 p.m., July 22.  Maslanka was charged with Driving Without Tail Lights, Improper Parking, Driving Under the Influence and Driving Under the Influence with a B.A.C. or .08 or More.  Maslanka was issued a Waukegan court date of Aug. 20 and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond. 

 

 

Joel Olascoaga, 34, who resides at 306 Dunbar Road in Wauconda, was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 12 at N. Old Rand Road in Lake Zurich, at 11:56 p.m., July 22.  Olascoaga was charged with Improper Lane Usage, Scott’s Law, Failure to Yield to an Emergency Vehicle, Child Endangerment and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.  Olascoaga was issued a Waukegan court date of Aug. 20 and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond. 

 

 

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY--MAILBOXES                                        

The police received three reports of damaged mailboxes on the 600 block of North Old Rand Road in Lake Zurich, July 21. The estimated damage is valued at $20, $50 and $75. This matter is pending investigation.
