Author Jodi Picoult to Visit Libertyville

The Cook Memorial Public Library District, in partnership with the Lake Forest Book Store, welcomes bestselling author Jodi Picoult on Saturday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at the Libertyville High School Auditorium.

Picoult, whose latest novel, "The Storyteller," tackles the legacy of the Holocaust and questions of forgiveness, will speak to her fans and sign books.

Event admission is the advance purchase of "The Storyteller" ($28) from Lake Forest Book Store ( www.lakeforestbookstore.com or 847-234-4420).
Picoult has published 19 bestselling novels, five of them debuting at number one on the New York Times bestseller list.

USA Today praises the author, saying “nobody in commercial fiction cranks the pages more effectively than Jodi Picoult.”

Megastar author Stephen King says she “writes with unassuming brilliance.”

"The Storyteller" takes on the difficult subject of the Holocaust with a deft hand, intermingling four intersecting tales. Library Journal calls Picoult’s latest page-turner a “powerful allegory of loss, forgiveness and the ultimate humanity of us all.”

Picoult’s previous books include "Lone Wolf" (2012) and "My Sister’s Keeper" (2004).

The Libertyville event is part of Picoult’s limited U.S. tour and is a joint program of Cook Memorial Library District and Lake Forest Book Store.

The event will be held in the main auditorium at Libertyville High School, 708 W. Park Ave. Advance registration is required: visit www.lakeforestbookstore.com for more information.
