Patrick Kennedy and Chicago Leaders to Break the Silence about Mental Health and Addiction at Kennedy Forum on Veteran's Day
This is a half-day conference hosted by The Kennedy Forum – a campaign to end the stigma against mental health and substance use disorders.
The Kennedy Forum Illinois is hosting its second annual forum and gala on Wednesday, November 11 at the Hilton Chicago, 720 South Michigan Avenue. Panels will run from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and are open to the public free of charge. You can request an invitation and register here.
The daytime lineup includes 15 conversations and workshops featuring more than 50 speakers from around the nation, covering topics from how to improve the media narrative around mental health to how we can encourage those in recovery to lead and how veterans are impacting the conversation. Each conversation includes speakers in recovery themselves. Panelists include: Patrick Kennedy, Elyn Saks, Paul Pendler, Peter O’Brien and more.
