Woman Found Dead In Parking Lot In West Rogers Park

CHICAGO, IL — A woman was found dead early Tuesday in the West Rogers Park neighborhood on the city's North Side, police said. Her body was found beside a fence in a Target parking lot in the 2100 block of West Peterson, according to police. Officers found the woman, 42, at around 1 a.m. and she was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner's office has not determined the cause of the woman's death.

Area North detectives were investigating.
