Homeowners to Hear About Park District Activity Center, Electric Rate Increase

Homeowners to Hear About Park District Activity Center, Electric Rate Increase

The monthly meeting of the Naperville Area Homeowners Confederation features two hot topics with the potential to impact our pocket books and lifestyles.

The Naperville Park District is planning a $23 million activity center at the corner of Fort Hill Drive and Quincy Avenue, with a goal to open it in late 2016. Park District representatives will be on hand to cover the plans to date and what we might expect from this new recreation amenity.

The City Council, meanwhile, is planning to increase rates for electricity. City staff will be on hand to explain this increase, the timing, and what it will mean to residents.

Our meeting will begin at 8 AM in meeting rooms B&C of the Naperville Municipal Center with coffee and networking sponsored by ReMax of Naperville. The formal meeting starts at 8:30. As always we promise to bring the meeting to a close at 10 AM so you can get on with your day. We hope to see you on Saturday, March 22nd as we learn more about these two initiatives.
