Naperville Man Dies in 2-Vehicle Crash
Police say the 56-year-old man's vehicle crossed the center line and struck a vehicle head on.
A 56-year-old Naperville man died in a two-car crash that occurred Dec. 22.
According to a release from the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, witnesses indicated that Martin Thayer was traveling eastbound on Galena Rd. when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided head on with a westbound vehicle driven by a 32-year-old Sandwich woman.
Thayer was pronounced dead at the scene.

Each vehicle had only one occupant inside it at the time. The crash occurred at around 3:25 p.m. in the area of Galena Rd. and Vilmin Rd. in unincorporated Little Rock Township.
The sheriff’s office is still investigating the crash.
