Local Election: New Lenox Mayor Results

New Lenox Mayor Tim Baldermann will lead the Village for a third term, according to unofficial vote totals Tuesday night, with all precincts reporting.

Vote Totals

• Tim Baldermann: 1,970
• Ron Sly: 1,612
• Andrew Englebrecht: 81

“I’m honored to be able to serve the residents for 4 more years,” Baldermann said.

In his campaign, Baldermann, 48, touched on building upon development efforts within the village, while also preserving and fighting for local funds in preparation for cuts at the state-level. He laid out plans for economic development, infrastructure projects and residential growth. Baldermann has said he will continue his efforts to revitalize the downtown area and build a new Metra station.
