Deliquency

Matthew A. Bucey, 18, of the 2800 block of McKenna Drive in New Lenox, faces a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor in Frankfort. He was released on bond and given an Oct. 21 court date.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 10

Teen Charged With Theft 

A 15-year-old New Lenox boy was charged with retail theft at a location in the 11000 block of Lincoln Highway in Frankfort. He was given an Oct. 13 court date.

Car Damaged Multiple Times

One New Lenox resident's car has taken a recent beating. On Sept. 6, Will County Sheriff's Police investigated a report in the 2100 block of Delaney Road that someone scratched the front hood of a 2005 Dodge van. The following day, the same victim said someone poured gasoline around the van.

At that time, the victim said someone cut the fan belt to the van on Sept. 2, and on Sept. 8 she reported that someone threw three eggs at the car and scratched the side panel.

Copper Theft

Someone stole multiple copper coils from ComEd property on Laraway and Schoolhouse roads in New Lenox. The offender broke into two storage sheds and a portable trailer to take the copper.
